I was born in South Texas in the small town of Raymondville, February 11th, 1956. I’ve lived in Texas all my life.
My dad was a musician and had me singing in his band when I was the ripe old age of five! We played a lot of places and did radio spots and local television shows like The Ty Cobb Show. We also played on the old Louisiana Hayride radio program and opened for the likes of Freddie Fender in Harligen Auditorium.
Through the years I learned how to play guitar and eventually began writing songs in my teens. I’ve had several variations of the JB Bullion Band, Fools Gold and the Bullion/Douglas Band.
When I was in my thirties I did a local Dallas PBS television show called “Songwriters Center Stage”! Under the management of Dallas Sounds (formally Ray Brondo Productions), I played just about every military base in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.
Now I am in the newest version of the JB Bullion Band and am looking forward in creating and writing material for many folks to enjoy!

Born in Houston, Texas my musical influences reach much further than the city limits of Houston. I have always as a young kid loved all types of Texas music from the blues of old Fifth and Third wards, to psychedelic rock of the sixties, to the border music of South Texas and old country music to boot!
I learned how to play guitar from my Uncle Billy who taught me some of the old border music he was familiar with. The first song I learned was La Bamba. After that I played in a few garage bands but never really pursued music until I was 35 years old! I told my wife that I didn't want to grow old without trying to play. My good friend and mentor Ernie Trevino showed me some licks on his bass and off I went.
In the past 15 years since, I have played with several bands
including BC & the Headaches and Lance G & Co.
I have shared the bill with Joe 'King' Carrasco and Van Wilks. Others that I would like to mention are Mark May, Rick Lee, blues great Sherman Robertson and jazz legend Bobby Lonero!
There are many people I need to thank for helping me through this great thing called music but one person, my wife Debbie, has to be my biggest fan and supporter. Without her I doubt that I would be where I am today!
Love you always, Deb!
Equipment:
Ampeg B5R head w/ 4 x 10 Ampeg Cab
G&L SB1 bass (my wife calls it 'The Other Woman')
Carvin LB75 (my new woman!)
Use Paul Smith bass strings exclusively (great tone!)

I was born in Metairie, LA on Oct. 12, 19??....hey a lady never tells her REAL age!!! I have lived in Texas about half my life and love being here.
My first influences in music have to have come from my parents Helen (Judy) Bengert Lonero and Charles Gladney. My mother has been, in many recent years, a member of the Bobby Lonero & the New Orleans Express band with her husband Bobby Lonero. My father, although has been deceased for many years, had as I can recall one of the greatest singing voices I have ever heard.
In addition, some of my better known vocal influences have been from a variety of female singers...everything from, Tammy Wynette, Linda Ronstadt, Wynonna Judd to Heart to more recently Susan Tedeschi and many, many more.
My first experience singing with a “Live” band came when I met my husband and partner Lance Gremillion nearly 10 years ago; we called ourselves Lance G & Co., we soon after renamed the band Shannon & Lance G.
I have had the opportunity to play with a wonderful musical family over the years and cherish every memory. I feel extraordinarily blessed with the opportunity to record and release a CD in 2005 called “The Road”, which received many accolades in which I call a "Labor of Love". I have met and played with many local and not so local musical influences over the last 10 years and have enjoyed every second of the ride.
Now within the last year a new era of Shannon G has evolved and after some serious consideration, Shannon and her husband decided to join the JBB Band.
I have a strong belief in JB Bullion’s songwriting/singing and the ability to, "transfix the listener to a place in which they can relate to"……and I along with the rest of the band look forward to doing it again and again!!!!!

I was born a native Texan from Brownsville, referred to as the valley. I grew up in the Heights of Houston and was in the band at Hogg Jr. High and Reagon Sr. High. I played at almost every talent show each year with a garage band. My senior year was cool! I was gigging with the Oily Gammon Band at that time in my life. I was only 18 years old and playing in bars around Houston.
After graduating, I started an apprenticeship as an electrician but knew very well that playing was in my blood. I played in bands such as Just Born, Battle Axe, Southern Cross (better known as Spare Parts), The Casey James Band, The Chiggers, Just Got Lucky, The Ernie Trevino Band, BC & the Headaches and others. I have also played with The April Heart Band back in 1999 at the Arena Theater which was a real treat.
In my theory of life, this world is a beautiful place with music. Music always sets the mood for different events and situations that we go through in our lives. Just think where we would be today if we did not have music in our everyday living? Where would we be without screaming guitars and killer rhythm sections? With all the BS that we go through, music makes life worth tackling during our struggles and times.
The gift of playing is something words can not describe especially when it clicks on all cylinders. That is when you look at each other thinking, WOW we are getting paid for this? Yes! We all need greenbacks in this world. Unfortunately that's what this world means to a lot of people. Family, friends, good health and good food is priceless!!
I play Sonors to gig with and I also have a set of Pearl Masters with custom mahogany shells. I also use 5-b size nylon tip drum sticks to play. There have been some times when I played at different places and people have requested that I give them my drum sticks for a keep sake. It's really been fun and I enjoy what I do in the entertainment field.
